I have had the opportunity to work with Carol two times in her capacity as a coach. Both times, she helped me enormously. Her coaching skills are built upon years of expertise in interacting with people on a very personal level, in particular in her work with students and their families. Throughout our sessions, I was continually surprised - pleasantly - how she was able to help me help myself hone in on what i was thinking and feeling...She helped me dig deep by asking me loads of questions, and I discovered a passion that I was, unknowingly, dying to pursue. .... It is clear to the client when he/she gets to the answer he/she was seeking, in my case, unknowingly. I cannot recommend her expertise any more emphatically. |
After 32+ years in the field of education, it was time to retire - but not retire retire. I still wanted to support those who were providing leadership, experiencing transitions, and/or looking to take the next step forward. I wanted to continue bringing together the expertise and energy of professionals in way that would support each other as well as clients - a synergy of partnerships. I wanted to take advantage of now having the time to share what I had learned regarding continuous improvement, mentoring and coaching, entrepreneurial goals, leadership, goal setting, creativity, facilitation, writing, and differentiation. My personal library is brimming with the thoughts and guidance of many researchers and great thinkers. Entrepreneur, small business owner, organizational leader – I look forward to supporting your work through coaching, professional development, or facilitation. I am also able to provide technical support to accomplish various program and presentation needs.

Mentor-Coach Processes for School Leaders
Course qualifies for 90 recertification points, or the equivalent of a 3-hour graduate course. "Mentor-Coach Processes for School Leaders" focuses on the use of mentoring and coaching strategies to provide individualized professional development in ways that guide, facilitate, and strengthen the abilities of peers, colleagues, and stakeholders. The course includes 15-week mix of 3-hour whole group sessions conducted via Zoom and individualized 1-hour coaching sessions via telephone. Participants take the EQ-i 2.0 assessment by Multi-Health Systems, Inc., to gain more awareness regarding the impact social-emotional intelligences have on their leadership roles and influences. Mentoring and coaching strategies provide positive professional development and reinforce relationship building for those we lead. This course was developed for school-based and central office leaders, administrators, and teacher leaders. Previous course participants discovered untapped value while practicing and applying the strategies. The old saying - "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish and he eats for a lifetime." - took on new meaning for these professionals! Cost: $700; 15-week course; individual coaching sessions; EQ-i assessment); additional books/material may be required.
